Reiki Sessions for Animals and People

In-Person or Remote Sessions are Available 

In-Person Sessions

Reiki healing sessions can be scheduled in person at Dancing Hearts in Manhattan, Illinois. Your healing work is done in the beautiful sunroom overlooking the farm. Relaxing and Healing music is played during the session, candles may be lit, and aromatherapy is often used. A sacred healing space is created in the room for each client.

For people, the healing is done on a comfortable massage table while you are fully clothed. Shoes and jewelry will be removed, and comfortable clothes should be worn. If you cannot lie on a table, your healing session can be done while you are seated in a chair.

Clients find the Reiki sessions to be very calming, relaxing and stress relieving. Some people fall asleep, others simply get very relaxed. Often, clear insights into life challenges emerge during the healing sessions, or soon after. Reiki can be very helpful for breaking unwanted patterns of behavior and addiction, for healing new or old emotional wounds, and for promoting general well-being. Affirmations can be used during your session if you choose, to help re-program your intentions for healing. Allow one hour for your appointment.

For animals, the healing takes less time, and animals are often comfortable moving around a bit during their session. A comfortable floor pad is provided for the animal if appropriate, and they may choose to lie and relax, even fall asleep...while others stand, sit or walk around the room. They are encouraged to fully participate in their own healing, and are allowed to be comfortable. Barn and house calls may be arranged for horses or other animals if you are within the travel area. Often, helpful insights into the animal's perspectives and well-being emerge during the session. Allow a half hour for your animal's Reiki session.

Remote Sessions

Because the energy that is the source of life knows no time or space, Reiki can be offered over any distance, at any time. A sacred space is created for you or your animal, just as if you were here in person. An intuitive connection is made, and the energy flows just as if you were in physical proximity. There is no need to "be present" in real time during the session, the Reiki is working with your non-physical bodies, therefore no conscious activity is necessary. The energy is just as pure and strong, whether across the room or across the world. The one element that is not present with remote sessions is the pleasant endorphin release that happens when a person or animal is physically touched.

An email briefing of the healing is sent when the session is completed.
