Private Tutoring Lessons for Dogs and Puppies

Dancing Hearts offers private, customized education for you and your dog or puppy. Your teacher is Kathy Kawalec, who has spent over 30 years learning from the best possible teachers: the dogs themselves! What the dogs have said is that clearly communicated intention, compassionate understanding, partnered teamwork and lots of patience and love is what works best!

Kathy uses fun, motivational and positive methods to teach you how to teach your dog. A Certified TTouch Practitioner and Holistic Dog Training Coach, Kathy has spent over 30 years learning how to teach animals through understanding, clear communication, positive reinforcement and partnership.

A personalized lesson plan and full instructor attention are perfect reasons to register for private classes at Dancing Hearts. Your lessons are individually designed to address the specific challenges that face you and your dog. If your dog is nervous, shy, over-stimulated by other dogs, or has a limited attention span, group classes may be overwhelming and difficult. In that case, your dog is best suited for private training and will thrive with the lessons given by Kathy. Lessons can be scheduled weekly, or to fit your particular needs and schedule.

Puppy and Dog School Tuition

Private tutoring lessons, custom designed for you and your dog may be scheduled weekly or bi-weekly at Dancing Hearts in Manhattan, Illinois. Appointments are available weekdays and some evenings. Once your order is received, Kathy will contact you via email or phone to schedule your lessons.

Generally, the travel range is 30 miles from Manhattan, Illinois.

Private Lesson, 60 minutes  $75 

Lesson Package: Four Private Lessons, 60 minutes each $275

Note: if you choose the Lesson Package, and are dissatisfied with your first lesson, Kathy will refund the balance of your tuition immediately.
