SHEEP DOG CAMP
If you'd like to spend the day at the farm with your favorite herding dog, this day's for you!
The camp is limited to a small group of 8 dogs and handlers, so each team will have 3 or 4 working sessions during the day. Kathy will help you set your training goals for the day, and work with you and your dog during lessons.
You will be able to watch the other lessons, share experiences and help with sheep tending chores -- all adding up to a fun and intensive learning experience!
School sheep for novices or challenging Cheviot ewes for more advanced dogs are available, as well as different sized working areas to match your level for optimal learning.
Dogs and handlers must have some herding experience to attend this camp. If you are new to herding, check out the Sheep Herding 101 clinics in the calendar.
A short "Introduction to Whistling" class will be incorporated during the day, and everyone will receive a shepherd's whistle and lanyard.
We will provide coffee and breakfast snack in the morning, and a light lunch in the afternoon.

Tuition: $65.00 per dog
Please register by March 12th.
Directions will be provided to registrants. If the event is cancelled due to weather conditions your tuition will be refunded in full.
